This RS485 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor is used to determine changes in dissolved oxygen levels, one of the primary indicators of aquatic environment quality. Based on the fluorescence quenching method so it can eliminate the process-related drift and no polarization time which can fasten the response time, enabling us to measure dissolved oxygen faster and more accurately. The fluorescence method for measuring dissolved oxygen is based on the principle of fluorescence quenching. Blue light is used to excite the fluorescent material, which emits red light. The concentration of oxygen molecules affects the time and intensity of the emitted red light due to the quenching effect. By measuring the phase difference between the excitation red light and the reference light and comparing it with an internal calibration value, the concentration of oxygen molecules can be calculated. It comes with RS485 serial communications protocol and can be easily connected and integrated with other devices. It’s compatible with SenseCAP S2100 – LoRaWAN® Data Logger – Seeed Studio to connect with the LoRaWAN® network, enjoying the benefits of low-power and long-range communication. This RS485 Modbus Dissolved Oxygen Sensor can also connect to the SenseCAP Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger to send data to the Cloud via 4G/3G/2G (SenseCAP server or client private server)
