I bought this because I have to let my dog out multiple times at night and we live on a farm so being able to just take a quick look around at night to see where he’s at or what is out there is very nice. It takes very good day pictures as well. To get it to focus is very easy with the knob in front and the buttons on it are pretty much self explanatory. Seems to be pretty solid. It has a spot so you can mount it to a tripod which I do plan to buy because I’m am naturally just kind of shakey and when it’s still it’s very clear. Overall I would say I’m pretty pleased with the quality of it.
